Thinking of You

23. Brandi. Air Force Wife. I do not have a ordinary life for girls my age. But I wouldn't trade a thing about it. I am nowhere near perfect. Born in raised in Nashville, TN. I appreciate the little things in life. I own my own custom military name tape business called Forever Faithful. I love the color pink, vintage, fashion, and anything Air Force... all things you will find on my blog. You can have my heart. Just don't break it. I'm madly infatuated with the man I have been with for 6 years. He's been apart of the Air Force for two years. :) He's my best friend, soul mate, provider, protector, hero, and he's mine! I'm lucky and blessed to have him.. I love you Trystan! ♥

i don’t know why military wives argue about branch and job, it’s not like you’ve earned bragging rights…

itallstartedonmamalu:

alpallll:

Did you go through basic? No. Are you enlisted in the military? No. Do you wear a uniform? No. Are you listed as a dependent? Yes. If you fit this description, YOU HAVE NO BRAGGING RIGHTS, GET OVER YOURSELF CRAZY.

I find this completely appalling that ladies talk about military wives like this!!

Do you not brag to your friends when you get a good grade on a exam, or when your little sister graduates high school, or when your mother nails a project she has been working her ass of at work for? THIS IS THE EXACT SAME THING!!!

Yes, I did go through basic with him… along with every damn special forces school he was going through…. SERE, Airborne, ATC… etc. I was there when no one else was! I was there sending him letters every night! I was the one hoping the SERE instructors didn’t kick the shit out of him. I was there to calm him down, lift him up, encourage him, love him, and SUPPORT him!!!

I HAVE bragging rights!! I am more than welcome to brag that MY husband was about to make it through one of the most elite training pipelines there are in the military. We are allowed to brag and tell the world about our mans accomplishment. And if you think otherwise you can kiss my BRAGGING ass!!!  :D

Love,

A SUPPORTIVE AIR FORCE WIFE!!!
